Rainy Day Blues

Its raining its pouring and unfortunatly I'm not snoring.... it rained all night and is still raining all day here so no beach for me.... Instead I have been spending the day doing all kinds of little errands getting ready for the weekend.... I am going to have a surprise party for my mother on Sunday morning and a surprise party for a friend that is about to be a mother on Saturday so I have lots to do getting ready for both of them this weekend.... If it feels like I am rambling about nothing well you are right come on up and visit and I will ramble about all the fun we have so that everyone else gets a little jealous reading about the adventures of Beach Bum Man and his visiting friends... My season of beach bumming is starting early this year even though we are getting rain these past few days I have been hanging around the beach and doing some fishing on a local lake.... I will be getting the speed boat out of storage for the season this weekend and cant wait to be back on the water....

Wednesday is Hump day

Its the middle of the week and what a great week its been. Monday and Tuesday were out of this world perfect weather for doing nothing... Last night it rained most of the night which we badly needed for the lawn.... I recently started helping out with a local little league team as an assistant coach, tonight is our second practice.... Wow are these kids good at 9 and 10 years old they can already play better than I ever could.... I have been working with the kids to figure out who will be the teams pitcher and I gotta say wow after being catcher for them for a bit my hand really hurts from the speed at which some of these guys are capable of throwing.

My Life...and Mission

So here I am all moved up to Traverse City, Michigan and done working on computers every day of my life and realizing that I am addicted to being on the internet even more then I had ever imagined... someone should start a computer junkies anonomus club so I can join and get away from these acursed machines once and for all.... I have been following this guy named Kyle McDonald on his adventure of One Red Paperclip and feel that copying him would be the ultimate compliment but kind of cheesy so here is what I am doing I am starting a trade-a-tour site.... If would you like to visit Traverse City but dont know anyone here feel free to contact me and I would be happy to show you around, be your fishing buddy, go water skiing for the afternoon behind my boat or wander the beautiful country side.... Wine country is here and I love to drink many varities of this wonderful grape nectar so I also have a bit of knowledge about the various local vineyards and would be happy to bum around with you or your family on a vacation to the area.... wondering about costs dont worry I will pay for myself and might even cover some of the stuff for you by using my boat and gear etc. as needed..... The real cost is that my wife and I would like to have the option to come visit your neck of the woods and have you return the favor to us.....
